- UCLA commit Rhedi Short may have pledged to the Bruins early on in the process, but he says his Washington offer intrigues him and he wants to take a visit up to Montlake.
- UW commit Keith Taylor has said he is solid with his decision, but Washington coaches will have a lot of work to do over the next year to keep him loyal as his recruitment is starting to heat up with numerous Pac-12 programs now after him.
- Fast-rising pass rusher Addison Gumbs recently received an offer from Washington. UW coaches have been on him for a while and Gumbs was hoping to make a trip up to Seattle for the Apple Cup, but he says he is now planning on visiting UW during his spring break at the end of March.
- 4-star wideout Taariq Johnson has coaches from all over the country coming after him, but he says he has formed a strong relationship with new Huskies WR coach Bush Hamdan. He says he wants to visit UW this summer.
- ($) Scott Eklund broke down what Connor Wedington's commitment means for the Huskies. He says that while Wedington is one hell of an athlete, his biggest contribution may come off the field in his leadership qualities and personality.
- Some quality talent is coming out of the state of Oregon in 2017 and Washington plans to poach some of them. 4-star West Linn CB Elijah Molden says he wants to get up to UW some time during his spring break.
- Nike's The Opening regional event in LA today is absolutely stocked with top talent and Greg Biggins previews all the players to watch for on both offense and defense.

- Chris Fetters continued his series grading Washington's 2016 recruiting efforts by position. This week he reviewed the defensive line, the offensive line, and tight end.
