We've talked a lot about losing over the past couple weeks as we have witnessed Washington's tourney hopes all but dashed despite the team staying ultra-competitive in every contest.
Now they have an opportunity to take out the frustration of the past four games against a Stanford team that is talented but still a cut below Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Cal.
However, it's highly unlikely that Coach Dawkins and his team will bow to that neat little narrative. In their past two games they have beaten Oregon at home and beaten WSU on the road. A win tonight would bring Stanford's conference record to 7-7 and give them a chance to finish the regular season hot and take that confidence into the Pac-12 tournament.
As cathartic as just one comfortable margin of victory would feel, it's more than likely to be another stress-inducing evening at Hec-Ed.
