The touchdown pass gave the Dawgs an early 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter, continuing Washington’s strong tendency this season to rack up points in the first quarter and play with a lead. The touchdown pass was Browning’s 43rd of the season, and represented Pettis’ 15th scoring reception of the year.
