Today the Huskies announced the signing of one of the more unheralded 2017 recruits, Joel Whitford, a 2-star punter from Australia. Currently he is redshirting at Santa Barbara College in California. He is slated to arrive spring quarter with three years to play three. He will immediately compete to start as punter with Tristan Vizcaino most likely moving to placekicker.
