After suffering their first loss of the 2016 season last week at the hands of Sam Darnold and the resurgent USC Trojans, the Huskies look to get back on track today when they host Arizona State. The Sun Devils are mired in the midst of a four-game losing streak and have dropped five of their last six, thanks in no small part to their worst-in-the-conference passing defense: ASU has yielded 387.4 passing yards per game, more than 94 yards worse than No. 11 Oregon. With the Husky defense depleted by injuries to its linebacker corps (both Joe Mathis, the team’s leader in sacks, and Azeem Victor, the team’s leader in tackles, have suffered season-ending injuries), Chris Petersen will no doubt look to get the Husky offense off to a hot start and force Todd Graham to play from behind.
