The coveted West Linn DB chose UW over Oregon and Stanford

UW added to its already strong 2017 recruiting class with today’s announcement that 4* DB Elijah Molden out of West Linn high school in Oregon has commited to Chris Petersen and the Huskies.

Molden is the 14th commit to this class and the third defensive back. The 5’10” 175 lb DB projects as a cornerback for a class that could see significant attrition following this season. Molden’s scouting reports suggest that he is a technically sound and physical CB very much in the mold of current Husky star Sidney Jones.

The DB class is shaping up to be particularly special for the Huskies. All three recruits - including CB Keith Taylor and S Brandon McKinney - are 4* recruits with Molden the highest rated of the bunch.
