How to Watch USC Trojans vs Washington Huskies

Washington hosts USC with hopes of improving to 2-0 in conference play.

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

The story for the Washington Huskies all season has been about moments of athletic exhilaration intermingled with spats of inconsistency and sloppiness. All of that was on full display in UW's exciting 2OT win over UCLA two nights ago.

The Huskies will look to build on the momentum that they mounted against the Bruins as they host the USC Trojans in today's matinee affair. This is the last home game in an epic 8-game stand before the Dawgs go on the road.

Key to the Huskies will be the ongoing production of senior PG Andrew Andrews. AA leads the young Huskies in scoring at 20.8 per game and his 24 straight games in double digits is the longest such streak among players in any Power 5 conference. His 35 points scored against UCLA was his third 30+ game of the season, joining Brandon Roy and Quincy Pondexter as the only Dawgs in history to achieve such an accomplishment in a single season. Free throws have been his secret weapon - he is shooting 84% from the line and is fourth in the entire NCAA in FT attempts.

The Trojans have had a very productive season so far. They sport a 12-2 record and are coming off a road win against WSU in Pullman. They've reeled off seven straight wins which is their longest winning streak since they won eight in a row in 2010. The Huskies will represent the stiffest competition that the Trojans will have seen during that run.
