Bill Connelly talks about the dissonance of head injuries and football
I think this is a conversation that needs to keep happening. Something hit me last week. I love football, particularly college football, and particularly UW football. My son is currently six years old, and a big kid. He has always been in the 90th-99th percentile in weight and height. A friend asked me if I was going to encourage him to play football and my immediate response was, "Not a chance." So, there is no way I would let my son play, and I LOVE watching 18-23 year olds play. It is hard to make sense of that.
