Amandre Williams commits to the Dawgs during his unofficial visit to Montlake

Word came in this morning that Amandre Williams was in attendance at Washington's second day of fall camp and that he may decide to commit to Chris Petersen and his staff in person. Early this afternoon the 'woof' tweets started coming in from Husky coaches followed by confirmation by Amandre himself:

Williams becomes the 11th public commitment to the 2016 class. He chose the Dawgs over offers from Pac-12 foes Oregon, Utah, and Cal as well as Boise State. Amandre plays both defensive end and quarterback for Tahoma High School, but has said that UW coaches have been recruiting him at BUCK linebacker. He plans to graduate early from high school in order to participate in spring ball with Washington next year.

Williams is 6'3" 210 pounds, telling Dawgman that he has lost 25 pounds of bad weight during this offseason. His junior season highlight can be seen below:
