More good news for Lorenzo Romar this morning as he's secured a commitment from yet another high-level prospect:
I am excited and blessed to announce I will be attending the University of Washington #DawgPackStandUp
— Daejon Davis (@DaejonDavis) August 25, 2015
Davis is a 2017 prospect out of Lakeside H.S. and part of the loaded Seattle Rotary team (along with fellow 2017 prospect Jaylen Nowell). Already a consensus 4-star prospect, Davis has seen his stock rising with a strong showing this summer. While listed as a SG, he possesses strong passing skills in addition to being a tremendous scorer and appears to be another great fit for Lorenzo Romar.
He becomes the first commitment for the 2017 class, and with the Huskies in contention for players like Michael Porter Jr., Nowell, Corey Kispert, Trae Young and more, it could be the start of yet another very strong recruiting classes of late for Romar.
Last August when he was offered by Washington, our Ben Knibbe interviewed him to get a few quick thoughts on that offer - check it out here.
