Greg Biggins has a nice west coast recruiting roundup which features a couple of UW targets. Among the tidbits of information is the news that 4-star 2017 Orange Lutheran DB Brandon McKinney is planning an unofficial visit to Montlake later this summer. Biggins also notes that despite being a grade younger than most of the participants at The Opening, Bishop Gorman receiver Tyjon Lindsey was one of the most dominant receivers at the Nike camp.

Speaking of receivers, Scott Eklund has a very thorough rundown of the state of wide receiver recruiting for UW's 2016 class. He notes that Washington could still be in the running for an official visit from 5-star Tyler Vaughns.

Blair Angulo over at Rivals went on a southwest tour stopping at Scottsdale Saguaro's summer training camp as well as Arizona State's 7 on 7 tournament and awarded some superlatives. The "Super Standout" of his southwest tour went to star Saguaro DB Byron Murphy, while 2017 prospects Ryan Kelley and Kayden Lyles were described as having the best arm and being the most impressive physical specimen respectively. Blair also thought Bothell QB Jacob Sirmon was the top "young gun" at the ASU camp.

4-star Texas running back Brandon Stephens released his top 6 schools last Thursday and Washington made the cut:

Another stud Texas prospect, Kofi Boateng, is feeling the love from the UW staff and has said he's built a strong relationship with Brent Pease. Could a visit to Seattle be in store for the Arlington receiver? ($)

One of the top TE prospects in the 2017 class is visiting UW this week:

The state of Arizona has produced some impressive talent at quarterback over the years and topping the current pack of prospects is Washington target Ryan Kelley.

Adam Gorney and Blair Angulo profile some of the west coast's top uncommitted prospects. Included are Washington targets N'Keal Harry and Tyler Vaughns.

Washington looks to be in the running for an official visit from Texas defensive end Bronson Massie.
