It was a mix of sun and clouds today as Washington wrapped up their spring practices with a Fan Fest and Spring Preview practice session. While the crowd size was modest - especially by SEC or Big Ten standards - it was a nice mix of fan-friendly events and some football that should encourage greater attendance in coming years.
For those that couldn't make it in person (including yours truly - young kids in the house = illness that can happen at a moment's notice) the scrimmage portion was televised on the Pac-12 Networks. If you didn't watch or record it, check your listings for a replay. In the meanwhile, all the usual beat reporters were there tweeting up a storm. Here's a sampling of the best tweets from the day:
