Amid the disappointment over a lost basketball season and the surprising news of 2014 starting QB Cyler Miles taking a leave of absence from the program came some good news tonight as the Huskies landed their 2nd commitment for the 2016 class in Sehome H.S. product Taylor Rapp:

I would like to thank all the schools and coaches that have recruited me over the past year.

I am staying home!
— Taylor Rapp (@trapp07) March 14, 2015

Rapp joins Brandon Wellington in the 2016 class and projects on defense as either a safety or linebacker depending on his physical development. He's a 3-star prospect according to and and a 4-star by 247Sports. He's long been considered a heavy UW lean, so it seemed like just a matter of time before he committed even in the wake of a recent offer from Stanford.
