Amid the disappointment over a lost basketball season and the surprising news of 2014 starting QB Cyler Miles taking a leave of absence from the program came some good news tonight as the Huskies landed their 2nd commitment for the 2016 class in Sehome H.S. product Taylor Rapp:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I would like to thank all the schools and coaches that have recruited me over the past year. &#10;&#10;I am staying home! <a href="http://t.co/MRRIuAkUzc">pic.twitter.com/MRRIuAkUzc</a></p>&mdash; Taylor Rapp (@trapp07) <a href="https://twitter.com/trapp07/status/576556282775121920">March 14, 2015</a></blockquote>

Rapp joins Brandon Wellington in the 2016 class and projects on defense as either a safety or linebacker depending on his physical development.  He's a 3-star prospect according to Scout.com and Rivals.com and a 4-star by 247Sports.  He's long been considered a heavy UW lean, so it seemed like just a matter of time before he committed even in the wake of a recent offer from Stanford.
