Chico McClatcher has been on the local radar for years now, and it's always great to keep the high end talent from western Washington playing in western Washington. McClatcher's calling card is his speed. He's quick and elusive with the ball in his hands and can hit a home run from anywhere on the field.
It will be interesting to see exactly how McClatcher is used, as he has the ability to be a slot WR, a scatback RB, or a hybrid of them both. Because the Husky offense is sorely lacking for playmakers, it wouldn't be a complete shock to see McClatcher get on the field and contribute early. You'd like to see everybody redshirt, but if the offense is as lacking in explosiveness in 2015 as it was in 2014 their hand may be forced in playing anybody with dynamic potential, and McClatcher definitely has that.
