3 Star DE Jason Scrempos is a Husky

The Huskies beat out a handful of Pac-12 programs for the long DE

Height: 6'6''

Weight: 250

Rankings: 3* #96 DE by Scout, 3* #32 SDE by 247

Jason Scrempos held offers from Arizona, Washington State, and Cal before committing to the Huskies.

Scrempos is big. At 6 feet and 6 inches, he has the height and frame to develop into a big defensive end that the Huskies have not had in a long time. There is only one current Husky (Caleb McGary) that is taller than what Scrempos is listed at. Not only does he have the potential to be a big defensive end who can anchor against the run, he's also got the quickness around the edge to be disruptive rushing the passer. He's more nimble than you'd expect, and uses his long arms to keep offensive linemen at bay.

The Huskies have a ton of bodies along the defensive line, which will give Scrempos needed time to acclimate to the college game and get in the weight room.
