Isaiah Renfro is a 4* safety and a 4* WR, but at UW he projects to the offensive side of the ball. At wide receiver he is a strong player who lacks breakaway speed but excels at finding the ball in the air, winning jump balls, and evading tacklers after the catch. In many ways he is reminiscent of a smaller Kasen Williams.
Renfro enters 2015 as one of the freshmen who seems likely to see the field right away. The wide receiver position is UW is long on players who have gotten onto the field, but short on players who have produced once they've gotten there. Outside of Jaydon Mickens, the team is still looking for a couple of guys to jump out and take a hold of playing time at wideout, and Renfro should be at least in the battle for playing time next season.
