Adams is the longest standing commitment for the 2015 class, having committed in the summer of 2013 -- when Steve Sarkisian was still the head coach. He's one of the top tackle prospects on the west coast, and will be expected to compete at tackle. He has the build and potential to develop into an All-Conference caliber player.
The offensive line was a critical position for this year's recruiting class with the departures of several seniors with a lot of starting experience. The goal is to attain not only more balance across UW's offensive line classes so that they aren't hit hard like this in the future, but to also get more talented so that they can run a cohesive offense at some point in the future. If that is going to happen, a guy like Trey Adams needs to pan out and be a cornerstone of the OL in a few years.
