The Washington Huskies take on the TCU Hornedfrogs in what will be their second game in three nights after they took care of the Cal State Fullerton Titans on Sunday. The Huskies were lead by Freshman wings Sunday. Dejounte Murray led the team, posting a team high 17 points and five assists. Matisse Thybulle also stepped up in a big way for the team as he turned in the best performance of his young college career, pitching in 16 points, knocking down six of his seven shots including three threes.
Andrew Andrews will look to bounce back from an off shooting night Sunday, as he only knocked down four of his 15 attempts from the field. However, he still pitched in fifteen points of his own as he was able to knock down three of his six three point attempts and also picked up four points at the charity stripes. Despite the cold shooting night, Andrews still pulled down ten rebounds, registering his third double double in four games. Needless to say, the senior guard is off to a great start this season which is evidenced by the fact that a fifteen point ten rebound performance is an off night.
As for tonight, the Huskies will look to stop a Hornedfrogs offense that is led by sophomore big man Vladamir Brodziansky and sophomore guard Malique Trent. Personally, I am excited to watch Brodziansky go up against the Huskies front court, particularly against Marquesse Chriss. It should be an interesting match up.
That's all i've got. The floor is yours Dawg fans.
