It's a busy day in Hec Ed as the women's hoops team hosts Oklahoma at 3PM and the men's team hosts Cal State Fullerton at 6PM. Coach Romar and the Dawgs will look to build some momentum through the remainder of the non-conference schedule heading into Pac-12 play, as this marks the first of six straight home games before hosting UCLA on New Year's Day to start the conference schedule.
Washington has been idle for the past week following the conclusion of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament where they defeated Charlotte to salvage a 1-2 mark in the Bahamas. The Huskies are now 4-2 on the season and looking to continue building rapport across the revamped and young roster. Keeping the bigs out of foul trouble, reducing turnovers and improving their shooting are areas where the team can get better.
The Titans are off to a hot start at 6-1, a positive beginning to the season for a program that has struggled of late. This game marks only the 3rd meeting between the two programs; Fullerton won the first meeting in 1986 (75-55) and the Huskies edged the Titans in 2012 (74-72).
Use this as your game thread, and Go Dawgs!
