The almost 2-month drought without a commitment has come to end. Highly rated 2018 QB Jacob Sirmon out of Bothell has decided to pull the trigger and commit to the hometown Huskies while on an unofficial visit this weekend:
So excited to have officially committed to UDUB! Can't wait to play as a Husky! #GoDawgs pic.twitter.com/1jqqtk8a5x

Washington was the first offer for Sirmon, who is a familiar face around the UW program as he has attended numerous games and practices this season. Sirmon is one of the top QBs in his class and is sure to be one of the top overall prospects in the country by the time he signs his letter of intent. After taking over for Ross Bowers, who is now at Cal, Jacob led his team to a 5-4 record in this transition year. Jacob is the nephew of former UW linebackers coach Peter Sirmon.
