- De La Salle DT Boss Tagaloa has scheduled a visit for every weekend in January and one of those weekends will be in Seattle. He will be a signing day decision. In the video Tagaloa says that he models his game after Husky great Danny Shelton.
- Tagaloa's teammate TE Devin Asiasi has also been a prime target of Washington. He is still deciding whether or not he wants to take an official visit to Montlake, but said that he loves Washington's coaching staff as well as the Seattle area.
- 5-star LB Mique Juarez decommitted from USC shortly after the firing of Steve Sarkisian and since then has seen his recruiting explode once again. He told Brandon Huffman that Washington is one of a few schools recruiting him the hardest right now and that he is open to playing for the Huskies.
- Washington receivers rebounded nicely yesterday after a miserable outing against Arizona State, but it's no secret that the Huskies still need lots of help at that position. Enter 6'4", 210 pound Southlake Carroll WR Zach Farrar. The Texas stud says that he is working on setting up a visit with Washington and says he really likes their coaching staff.
- Washington commit Brandon Wellington was one of the most recent players featured in the Scout Spotlight. The Eastside Catholic star says his game most resembles that of Shaq Thompson.
- 2017 Orange Lutheran DB Brandon McKinney was one of many visitors on campus for the Utah game and he gave a glowing review of his time in Seattle. McKinney even went as far as to say the Huskies are currently his top school.
- 4-star 2017 LB Tysyn Parker has seen his recruitment pick up over the course of his junior season and Washington coaches are among those in contact with the Gardena Serra product. One thing UW coaches won't have to worry about with Parker is academics as Tysyn currently holds a 4.4 GPA.
- 2016 West Hills Chaminade WR Jordan Chin has a trio of respectable offers (Eastern Washington, San Diego State, and Wyoming), but he says Washington has recently been in contact with him and he is hoping he lands an offer from the Huskies soon.
- Scout's West Region recruit of the week is Washington target Jonathan Kongbo who has seen his recruitment explode in the last few weeks.
- The guys from Dawgman talked football recruiting for a bit during their show this week (starts around the 45:30 mark).
- 247Sports added a number of new 4-star prospects to their 2018 recruiting class ratings and one of those is Bothell QB Jacob Sirmon.
- Washington coaches offered 2017 WR Bryan Thompson this week:
Huge ups to Rancho Verde class of 2017 WR Bryan Thompson on picking up his 1st offer from University of Washington.
