DeMatha Catholic High School Markelle Fultz has officially signed his letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Washington according to the school. The 6-foot-4 guard out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland will be a huge addition for the 2015-2016 class.
Fultz is the No. 6 recruit out of the 2016 class according to Scout.com. Fultz made the announcement that he was heading to Washington back in August.

Fultz joins New Zealand's Sam Timmins as the two new additions to the ball club next year.
Lorenzo Romar spoke highly of his new guard in the school's news release:
"He’s extremely poised and versatile," added Romar. "He’s a guard with size at 6-4 that’s athletic, can handle the ball and really passes well. He’s got long arms so he’ll be a great defender for us and he’s got experience on the big stage. When you consider that he was on the junior varsity team as a 10th grader and he’s made this climb this rapidly, you just know that he’s maybe just scratching the surface.
Just to get you ready for him, Fultz recently won a high school slam dunk contest. Take a look.
With a win last night against Texas to start the season, things are looking up for Coach Romar and the Dawgs.
WOOF!
