The NBA's Developmental League held its draft on Saturday and the Toronto Raptors selected the recently graduated Mike Anderson. The Raptors new D-League team, Raptors 905, grabbed Anderson with its first pick ever. It is the inaugural season for the Raptors' developmental team which will be based out of Mississaugua, Ontario, Canada. Anderson was a JC transfer for Coach Romar. He averaged just 6.9 points per game but was a solid defender for the Huskies. Anderson joins Terrence Ross in the Raptors organization. Robert Upshaw will also be in the D-League this season as the Lakers D-League squad picked up the troubled center after he was let go by the Lakers. Congratulations to Anderson and good luck to both in trying to make it on an NBA roster this season.
