This is one of those weird weeks where not only do we have to wait all day for the Huskies to play in a night game, but we get the pleasure of not watching any major top 25 matchups happen while we wait. In fact, the only pairing of top 25 teams today is #15 Texas A&M visiting #24 Ole Miss.

I suppose that is why ESPN's College Game Day is visiting James Madison University today.
Since I'm a bit limited on time this morning, I'll leave you with the TV Schedule, the open thread and just a few quick thoughts.
- I am becoming more and more intrigued by the drama around the #3 Utah at USC game this evening. The more I think about it, the more I see this as a "season on the line" situation for USC. I firmly believe that they are going to give Utah all that they can handle. If Utah can't handle the emotional burst from the Trojans at the beginning of this game, they will get upset. Actually, it won't be an upset technically speaking. USC is the rare unranked favorite over an undefeated top 5 team - something that I can't recall ever have happening before (though I'm sure it has at some point).
- The Temple Owls are ranked #22 and traveling to East Carolina today. They will lose.
- aOn the upset front, I made the mistake of picking Louisville to upset Florida state last weekend. That didn't work out so well. This weekend, I'm looking at the Seminoles once again. Something about that team isn't quite right for me. They are on the road at Georgia Tech this weekend and I'm thinking that this is the game that Everett Golson reverts back to his turnover-prone ways en route to a Seminole defeat.
Enjoy your football this weekend, Dawgs. We'll see you around the Game Thread for the Huskies later tonight.
