- After receiving an offer from Washington last week, Anaheim Servite CB Keith Taylor tells Scott Eklund he is hoping to schedule a visit to UW for the Utah game next month.
- The big news of the week was the firing of Steve Sarkisian at USC. Greg Biggins gives his thoughts on how that decision could impact recruiting. I wouldn't count on any of USC's current commits to flip to UW, but it will be interesting to see the impact Sark's firing will have on the recruiting trail with the mutual prospects that UW and USC are pursuing like N'Keal Harry, Byron Murphy, and Devin Asiasi.
- Brandon Wellington was profiled by Sports Stars of Tomorrow and he talks about the importance of family in his life:
- 4-star CB Deommodore Lenoir was up in Seattle for the Rising Stars camp in June and it was then that he received his offer from the Huskies. He spoke with Scott Eklund this week and said he plans to set up another visit to Montlake soon and also added that Washington's facilities are the best he has seen in the Pac-12.
- Stanford DB commit David Long had Washington in his final list of schools before choosing the Cardinal. He still plans on taking his visits and says that he will be visiting Washington after the season.
- Could UW reach into enemy territory for their next TE commit? 2017 Pullman High TE Ben Moos, son of WSU AD Bill Moos, visited UW this summer and really enjoyed the coaching staff.
- 2017 WR Brian Casteel out of Covina, CA has already been hearing from numerous Pac-12 programs, one of which is Washington.
- Scott Eklund has a look at how Washington commits fared in their games last week.
- The Washington offense gets a lot of flak, but a 2018 RB "fell in love" with it while visiting USC last Thursday:

- Foster Sarell suffered a freak arm injury early in his season, but appears to be on track to be back on the field in the next few weeks:
Graham-Kapowsin OT Foster Sarell, the No.5 overall prospect in 2017, informed me he got his cast off last week hopeful to be back in 2-3 wks

- Sean McGrew ran all over Mater Dei Friday night rushing for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns. Here is just one of his highlight runs:

- Needless to say, his performance drew some reactions:
I don't care about his height, four-star Sean McGrew is such a tough runner and has insane speed in the open field #UW
— Adam Gorney (@adamgorney) October 17, 2015Sean McGrew is such a unique and special talent, can't wait to see what he does at the next level
— Greg Biggins (@GregBiggins) October 17, 2015Holy smokes! Hand off to McGrew and he takes it 56 yards to the house! He's nearly tripped up 3 times and somehow he finds a way!
