Washington Huskies vs. Oregon Ducks Open Game Thread

The Huskies attempt to sweep the Oregon schools and salvage their Pac-12 record with a win over the Ducks.

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Washington Huskies (12-4) at Oregon Ducks (12-5); 5:30pm Sunday, ESPNU.

The Huskies stand at 1-3 in conference play. Shortly after this contest, they will travel to play at Colorado and top-10 Utah. Gutting out even one win on that trip will be difficult.

That context makes this game all the more important. It can be tiresome hearing every single game referred to as a "must win," but it is true that a loss here would severely damage Washington's chances of clawing back above .500 in Pac-12 play.

F Jernard Jarreau will be out for 4-6 weeks following knee surgery, so Robert Upshaw will start and Romar will likely stick to a seven man rotation and heap a heavy workload on his starters.
