While you could argue that losing to Washington State at home confirmed that this slide is a genuine season killer, a win tonight would at least give UW a chance to salvage the three game home stand that will conclude on Sunday against Oregon.
If the Huskies extend the losing streak to five, and the Pac-12 record to 0-4, they will likely find no answers on the road at Colorado and Utah. Every game is a "must win" when you find yourself in total free fall.
Oregon State, on the other hand, is less than a week removed from upsetting Arizona in Corvallis. Since the beginning of Pac-12 play they have been the balanced, defense-oriented team that Washington appeared to be.

Here's hoping the Huskies can make a stand.
Update: Jernard Jarreau will undergo knee surgery and will be out for several weeks, while Darin Johnson is out with a quad strain. Oregon State's Victor Robbins is suspended for 10 games. Depth issues all around!
