UW Men's Soccer Beats Seattle U 4-1

The Men's soccer team continues its strong start this season, notching a decisive victory against cross-town rival Seattle University.

Here the video highlights of the game.

And here's the stat line:

#4 UW #22 Seattle U
22 Shots 6
12 Shots on Goal 1
8 Corners 3
0 Saves 8
2 Yellow Cards 2

The Huskies controlled the ball for much of the game, and it was never really all that close. Pac-12 2013 Freshman - Player of the Year Christian Roldan scored his first goal of the season off a header, from a corner, in the 27th minute, and that would be the lone goal scored in the half.

James Moberg scored a goal in the 60th minute, Josh Heard scored a goal two minutes later, and Darwin Jones scored a goal in the 68th minute. The senior was all over the field, creating shots for himself and his teammates, but was unable to find the back of the net until the middle of the second half.

This is the second consecutive game that the Huskies have netted 4 goals. They have started the season off strong, and look to continue their success when St. Mary's comes to town on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
