Eastside Catholic H.S. product and Sammamish native Matisse Thybulle announced via his Twitter account Monday afternoon that he will play his college ball at the University of Washington, becoming the fourth verbal commit for Lorenzo Romar in the class of 2015.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I've decided that I'm going to the University of Washington to play for the Huskies! Thanks to everyone who supported me! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/GoDawgs?src=hash">#GoDawgs</a> </p>— M4tisse (@MatisseThybulle) <a href="https://twitter.com/MatisseThybulle/status/516731676232134656">September 29, 2014</a></blockquote>

Thybulle is rated a four-star by Scout and held offers from WSU, Oregon, Gonzaga, Cal and Arizona State, among others. It was believed that Gonzaga and the UW were his final two choices.
All four players committed to the 2015 class are rated in Scout's top 100. Dejounte Murray (37), Marquese Chriss (47), David Crisp (96) and Thybulle (73) all crack the list.
Thybulle is a bouncy forward who might not average 15 points a game as a freshman, but could come off the bench and make an impact on both ends of the court with his size, length and athleticism.
Thybulle teamed up with Murray and UW recruit Keith Smith with NW Xpress this summer in the AAU circuit. Check out one of his best dunks of the summer.
