UW Senior RB Jesse Callier is out for the season with a ruptured achilles according to Head Coach Chris Petersen. Petersen made the announcement at today's regularly scheduled press conference. This injury is Callier's second season-ending injury in his career and, as a senior, most likely ends his UW career.
This is an open appreciation thread for Jesse Callier. Stay strong, young man. The future is bright.
Petersen unsure if Callier, a senior, will return. Although it sounds as if his career is over.— Percy Allen (@percyallen) September 22, 2014

A blown ACL two seasons ago, and now a torn Achilles for Jesse Callier. Brutal news for a young athlete, but he's a tough kid.— Elise Woodward (@EliseWoodwardUW) September 22, 2014
