Sunday's Best - Washington Huskies in the NFL

With two weeks of the NFL season behind us we take a look at how are Dawgs are performing in their chosen professions.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Jake Locker - QB Tennessee

Jake is off to a pretty nice start in Tennessee.  A  first week dismantling of the Chiefs in Kansas City, where Jake had a QB rating of 111,  quieted many doubters.  Even after a rough first half and overall subpar game against Dallas, Jake is still way above where he was this time last year.  A tough test looms this week at Cincinnati.  I hope Jake comes out of this game healthy.  A

Jermaine Kearse - WR Seattle

Kearse was the leading WR for Seattle in week 2, after only catching one pass in Week 1.  Is this a sign of the future or does it have more to do with the fact/idea that Percy Harvin was missing against the Chargers.  Probably a little of both.

Donald Butler - LB San Diego

The Chargers are obviously coming off a big victory.  Donald had decent day playing nearly every snap and recording 3 tackles.  He had 2 in a week one loss

Desmond Trufant - CB Atlanta

The Falcons are 1-1. Desmond has 2 tackles and 1 pass defended in both games.

Mason Foster - LB Tampa Bay

The Bucs are 0-2 including a shocking defeat to the Rams.  Mason only had two tackles in that loss before separating his shoulder.  He is a big part of the Tampa defense and Lovie Smith will hope this injury isnt serious  He had 9 tackles  in a week 1 loss to Carolina.

Dashon Goldson - S Tampa Bay

Dashon led the Bucs in tackles in week 2 with 11.  He had 9 in week 1.  Dashon appears to be back in pro-bowl form that will go mostly unnoticed if the the Bucs continue their losing ways.

Marcel Reece - FB Oakland

The Raiders are terrible.  And not sure why Marcel doesnt get used more.  He has 3 catches for 12 yards on the season.  He is too big and too fast to not get at least 3-4 targets a game.

Khalif Barnes - LG Oakland

Barnes in the starting RT again after flirting with moving to guard.  Too bad Khalif is stuck in Oakland.  But he probably doesn't start in a lot other places.

Austin Sefarian-Jenkins - TE Tampa Bay

Austin missed last week with a foot injury.  He caught one pass in week 1 for 26 yards, before being injured.

Bishop Sankey - RB Tennessee

Bishop's carries have been limited so far in Tennessee as I have stated in the past I expect that to grow as the season progress.  The titans got behind last week and only had 13 rushes as a team.  Bishop got 2.  He had 6 carries in week one.

Chris Polk - RB Philadelphia

Chris Polk was active in week 2 after being inactive in week 1.  He did not appear on the stat sheet.

Senio Kelemete - G New Orleans

Senio is listed as the backup at both guard positions for the Saints.  It doesnt appear he has played in a game yet.

Alameda Ta'amu DT Arizona

Alameda has been active for both games but has not made the stat sheet.

Greg Ducre - CB Chargers

Greg made the chargers practice squad
