Dwayne Washington is the future at running back, and I think he's good enough that as the season goes along he's going to separate himself from the others and get a bigger and bigger percentage of touches. Josh Perkins is probably the favorite to win the TE job, but you have to love Daniels potential as pass catcher and ability to be a punishing blocker. We could see a bigger WR opposite Kasen Williams than John Ross (like DiAndre Campbell) but none of the contenders have shown what we've already seen from Ross. Ross is more at home in the slot, but he can play out wide and it's a crime to leave his speed on the bench -- get your best receivers on the field.

The front seven is basically the same front seven we've seen each of the last two seasons. Having Kikaha available to play linebacker allows the staff a ton of options to rotate guys in and around and keep everybody fresh for four quarters. It's not a matter of if Budda Baker becomes a starter at safety, rather when. It's entirely possible that he could start from week one, but even if he doesn't start he's going to get time both on special teams as well as with the first team defense.
