Dot...Dot...Dawg (7/30)

Husky-laden lists, fall camp updates, and more things to read while you wait impatiently for football.

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports
Dots for the Dawg days of summer...

  • Ted Miller asked one question of each Pac-12 North coach. Predictably, he asked Petersen about Cyler Miles.

  • Meanwhile, the ESPN Blog included a ton of Huskies in the top-25 Pac-12 players countdown. Shelton, Kikaha, and Peters in numbers 20-16, and Shaq included in numbers 15-11. I would probably have at least one Husky above Shaq, but it's a tough group to rank.
  • In case you didn't see earlier, three fall practices will be open to the public.
  • Mike Anderson led the Huskies to a summer league win, for whatever that's worth.
  • I know this has made the rounds, but I was pretty excited to see a season teaser that wasn't so movie-quote over the top as the first.

  • It's easy to be dismissive of Washington's non-conference schedule, but keep this in mind about Illinois:
  • A treasure trove of information for anyone obsessed with WSU player weights.
  • Just because Cal is the odd-man out in the Pac-12 North doesn't mean we should ignore them. After all, the offense (previewed here) should be pretty entertaining.
  • The Ducks are in the running for a couple of the top recruits in the nation, so that's always nice.
  • Just for fun, here's a quick GIF of Kikaha blowing by a BYU tackle for the strip-sack.
  • Question of the Day

Chris Petersen's opening press conference will be hosted this Sunday. If you could ask Coach one question, what would it be?
