Steven Beo was extended a scholarship offer from the Huskies Tuesday, as reported by Jason McCleary of Left Coast Recruiting. Beo also received an offer from Boise State on Tuesday.

Our own Erik Erickson had a chance to see Beo play for a half at the WIAA State tournament. Erickson said that from what he saw Beo is a good shooter with natural scoring ability and that he went off in the State Tournament

The sophomore plays for Richland High School (Richland, WA). He was the team's second-leading scorer who does a little bit of everything.

McCleary called him one of the standout players of the WIAA State Tournament - last season. Here is what he said about Beo:

Beo is a solid 6'2 point guard who was the second leading scorer on the Richland team. Beo is poised on the court had has nice size to him. Beo can shoot the rock, get his teammates involved and plays defense. Beo is guard who people east of the mountains will be hearing about for the next three years.

That three years is now two years. Expect to hear about his offers trickling in.
