The Huskies (10-0) are now ranked #12 in the nation fresh off a grueling 69-67 neutral court win over Oklahoma. To continue the march towards an undefeated non-conference schedule, Washington will need to beat a Tulane team riding a nine-game winning streak only two days removed from a highly physical contest in Las Vegas.
Tulane is a potent offensive team that has avoided defeat since losing a season-opener. It is unlikely that they will simply fold in the face of a highly-ranked opponent on the road.
There is no doubt that the Huskies are the more talented team; the question is whether or not Washington will come out lethargic to start, or if the team will be fully prepared for Tulane with only one full day between games.
With a win here, only Stony Brook will stand between Washington and an undefeated non-conference run.
