Washington received some good news tonight on the recruiting front as DB prospect Quinten Pounds from Cypress High School announced his commitment to the Huskies. He marks the 16th known verbal commitment for the 2015 class and the 7th on the defensive side of the ball. He joins Jordan Miller as the 2nd DB prospect in the class (Isaiah Renfro is listed by some as a S, but has been recruited to play WR).
Pounds is a 3-star prospect by both Scout.com and Rivals.com and is listed at 6'1", 170 lbs. He reportedly had offers from Utah, Boise State, Colorado, WSU and Nevada and was also considering Cal and had taken official visits to Boise State and Colorado in addition to Washington.
