Less than a week after wrapping up his official visit to Washington, Myles Rice - a 6'4", 225 lb OLB/DE prospect out of George Bush H.S. in Richmond, TX has given a verbal commitment to the Washington Huskies:

Blessed to say that I am now committed to play college football at the University of Washington #Blessed #Udub
— Myles. Rice is a player flying under the radar a bit - he's a 2-star prospect in the current Scout.com and Rivals.com ratings (3-star by 247Sports) with reported offers from Houston, Utah State and Louisiana Tech. DL/Special Teams coach Jeff Choate has recruiting ties in Texas, and this appears to be the first fruit of his efforts there on behalf of the Huskies. He likely projects as a BUCK in Pete Kwiatkowski's system.
