This is easily the best (and lightest) schedule the Huskes have played since football was invented over a thousand years ago. There is no murderer's row like they've had in recent years, with the toughest stretch being @Oregon then home vs ASU. That stretch it buttressed by should-be-wins @Cal and @Colorado, which is nice. The UCLA/Arizona/OSU stretch could be tough, but two of those are at home and who knows how good Zona will be with Ka'Deem Carey expected to announce for the NFL any day now. Likewise with OSU, where do they turn to with Brandin Cooks and Scott Chrichton leaving?
You can complain about the lightness of the nonconference schedule, but at the end of they day, all voters care about is your record. The SEC has proven this. And there's no excuse for the Huskies to be anything but 4-0 there this year, which should set them up for a run at a double digit win season.
