F Marquese Chriss Commits to the Huskies

Washington landed their 2nd basketball commit in the past two days for the 2015 class as F Marquese Chriss made his choice known after taking an official visit this past weekend.

On the court the Huskies have been making great strides in the past couple of weeks as they've gotten off to a hot start in Pac-12 play.  They've been just as hot off the court as they land their 2nd commitment in the last two days for the 2015 class as highly touted F prospect Marquese Chriss picked the Huskies tonight after returning home from his official visit this past weekend:

In Chriss the Huskies get an athletic big man who should prove to be a good fit for Romar's system.  He's also the highest rated front-court player Romar has landed since at least 2007 (Matthew Bryan-Amaning) and a consensus 4-star recruit.  He's a skinny kid at 6'8" and 200 lbs, but very athletic.  He has terrific bounce and range out to the 3-point line, but like a lot of young forwards he needs to develop a low-post game.  Check out some highlights:
