Football Recruiting Update - 9/26

It's been slow on the recruiting front for Washington as the start of football season has taken center stage. But recruits are starting to take official visits, and the Huskies are getting a big one this weekend:

• RB Joe Mixon - Mixon is one of the top RB prospects in the country, and if he were a WR he'd be one of the top prospects at that position as well. After initially listing a top-5 that didn't include Washington, he's changed course:

• Also visiting this weekend in an unofficial capacity is top local target DB Budda Baker
• The Huskies will also host a 2015 prospect in OL Zach Okun:

• The Huskies have offered a big-time JUCO WR, current Tennessee-commit Eric Lauderdale. This could be related to news that Husky commit Erik Brown is still planning to take visits to other schools.
