National games of intrigue:
Alabama (-18) at Virginia Tech: If you're betting against Alabama at this point, you're a sick, masochistic person. Roll Tide.
Georgia at Clemson (-2): Georgia's defense lost everybody. Clemson's offense is ridiculous. Death Valley is as tough a place to play in the country. This looks like a game where Georgia's (really good) offense could score five touchdowns and they still get run out of the stadium by Tajh Boyd and his crew. Clemson is the safe pick.
LSU (-5) at TCU: This one's a no-brainer to me. LSU is annually one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the country in terms of talent. They lost some important pieces off of their defense, but they reload so well that it probably won't matter too much. TCU hasn't seen a team this talented in a long time. LSU is going to choke the life out of TCU's offense, lean on their ground game and do what they do, winning by at least 20.
