The 2K Sports Classic is a basketball tournament that will include the Washington Huskies. The Washington Huskies will play against one of the NCAA Tournament's number one seeds last season: the Indiana Hoosiers. The tournament, benefitting the Wounded Warrior project will be taking place on Nov. 21 and 22 with the Dawgs and Hoosiers squaring off in the second game on the 21st.

The Hoosiers made it to the Sweet Sixteen on the back of top-ten picks in the NBA Draft; Victor Oladipo went second overall and Cody Zeller also went in the top ten. IU will show Washington a very different roster than the one that finished last season, as the top four players in minutes per game last season for the Hoosiers are all either graduated or in the NBA.

The game will be taking place in Madison Square Garden, after UW and IU play regional games against opponents that have yet to be announced. Much of the non-conference schedule has yet to be announced.

Some of the other teams taking part in the tournament will be UConn and Boston College, who will be renewing their rivalry.

Washington and Indiana haven't squared off since 1979, or a long time ago. It was before I was born, so it may have never happened and everyone could just be lying to me. That's it. They played twice in that year, with UW losing both times. Their only win in the series was in '66.

This is the news that is out there right now guys. Soak it up, camp isn't too far away, sort of.
