Bowl Games Open Thread (12/21)

A couple of Pac-12 foes kick off the bowl season. Join us in our comment thread to root against them (or for them, whatever if you're into that sort of thing).

Stephen Dunn

Today's Schedule:

Gildan New Mexico Bowl, Washington State vs Colorado State

11:00 Pacific, ESPN.

The Cougars opened as a 4 point favorite, and the line has climbed to 6 points. This could turn into a shootout, as both WSU and CSU are teams that can move the football. Check out Cougcenter and MWC Connection for more coverage.

Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl, #20 Fresno State vs #25 USC

12:30 Pacific, ABC

The Steve Sarkisian era is underway at USC. Not really, as he's not coaching this game, but rest assured that if he was, this is the exact kind of game that they'd get blown out 50-13, as Fresno is pretty dangerous and it's not at home. USC is 6 point favorites. Conquest Chronicles and MWC Connection have you covered.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, Buffalo vs San Diego State

2:30 Pacific, ESPN

Buffalo opened as 3.5 point favorites, but that has since swing to SDSU being favored by 1.5

R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, Tulane vs LA-Lafayette

6:00 Pacific, ESPN

Opened as a Pick Em, but now Tulane is favored by 2. Tune into this one to see how former Keith Price backup Nick Montana is performing this season.
