The Huskies enter the game having won 3 of their last 4 games, as well as 3 of the last 4 Apple Cups. The Cougars are riding a two game win streak, but have been mostly uncompetitive with the upper half of the conference.
WSU may be fighting for their bowl lives today though, as even though they've hit bowl eligibility, they're no sure thing to be invited to the postseason if they lose today. With the Pac-12 filling with more bowl teams than slots, the teams on the bottom (WSU and OSU) have already begun campaigning to be selected over the other. It's a game that WSU players, coaches, and fans alike will be hungry to win -- even moreso than usual -- as the Cougs try to get to their first postseason appearance in a decade.
