Some national games of intrigue:
#25 Maryland @ #8 Florida State (-17.5) 9:00 AM Pacific, ESPN: Florida State will win, but they've been pretty bad against the spread under Jimbo FIsher. Look for for Maryland to sneak in a backdoor cover or just keep this game closer than FSU should let them. Take the points.
TCU @ #11 Oklahoma (-9) 4:00 PM Pacific, FOX: TCU hasn't been very impressive at all this year, and has really struggled to move the ball with Trevone Boykin at QB. Oklahoma's defense will give Boykin fits, and Blake Bell will do enough to allow Oklahoma to win comfortably, by about 17 or so. Take Oklahoma.
#4 Ohio State (-6.5) @ #16 Northwestern 5:00 PM Pacific, ABC: I don't know why this line is so low. Northwestern will score a few times, but there's no way their defense will let them keep pace with the Buckeyes. It may be close for a half, but Ohio State will just outrun them and win by several scores. Free money taking the Buckeyes to cover here.
Pac-12 Schedule:
Washington State @ Cal 1:00 PM Pacific, FOX Sports 1
#2 Oregon @ Colorado 3:00 PM Pacific, Pac-12 Network
#22 Arizona State vs Notre Dame (in Arlington, TX) 4:30 Pacific, NBC
Settle in ladies and gents, because it's a long and agonizing wait until the Huskies take on the Tree.
