The ultimate measuring stick for this season is upon us. The Ducks are, in the eyes of many, the best team in the country. The Huskies are this season's upstarts in the Pac-12, looking to make a statement by knocking off the Ducks and stepping squarely into the race for a conference championship.
Not only is this game important for this season, but its results will likely have impact down the road as a ton of UW's targets for 2014, 2015 and even beyond will be taking this game in. Just about all of the local talent will be on hand, as well as some guys coming in from all around the western region.
