Washington Opponent's Overall Record: 23-11
Since John posted his "picks" for the Pac this week, I won't preview any of the Pac-12 games. If you want to see those again, try this link ... Here's the rest of the games.
San Jose State (2-1) vs. San Diego State (2-1)
San Jose State appears to be sneaky good this year. They nearly knocked off Stanford in the first game of the season, and then they ravaged both UC Davis and Colorado State by a combined score of 85-33. San Jose State's QB is very accurate, completing 73% of his passes. Look for San Diego State to try and generate lot's of pressure with it funky 3-3-5 defense. I give SDSU the edge since they play at home.
LSU (3-0) vs. Auburn (1-2)
It looks like this is yet another year of mediocrity at Auburn, post Cam Newton. We'll see what they can do against the Bayou Bengals, but this Dawgfan isn't expecting much. Auburn should be 0-3, but they were able to squeak out an OT win against FCS Louisiana-Monroe. Look for Auburn to squeak out one or two scores at the most this game as they get mangled by LSU.
Southern Utah (1-2) vs. Portland State (1-2)
Southern Utah was able to put up quite the fight against Cal a couple weeks ago. Southern Utah might be 1-2 at the moment, but their two losses came against Utah State and Cal. Their QB is probably the top FCS NFL prospect in the country. He can really wing the ball. I expect this game to be a barn burner, with these guys combining for 70 or 80 points.
