Dot call it a comeback! I've been here for years... Rockin' the mic, puttin' suckers in tears.

  • For you Dawgman subscribers, here is the update on new Husky DE commit, Marcus Farria ($). You can also get his bio over at ESPN.com.
  • Yahoo! Sports has 5 reasons that 14 year olds should not be offered scholarships. I know that this story has triggered a ton of buzz around the country (exactly the point), but I find it ironic that this kind of article, when looked at it in the context of our national obsession of college football, is symptomatic of the very reason why kids are being put in a position to be offered scholarships at such an early age. • Now that NFL camps have opened, be ready for a bevy of news about Husky alumni, including Chris Polk. The War Daddy is already impressing at Eagles camp - looking faster and stronger than originally thought by the team.
  • Unlike some other PAC 12 alums, Dashon Goldson did the honorable thing and showed up for camp on time after signing his franchise tag tender. Here is a little Q&A with the former Husky.
  • Victor Aiyewa is looking for a little mojo - can you help a brother out?
  • The Minnesota Timberwolves have made several moves in the last 24 hours - all of which help open the door to a Brandon Roy introduction this weekend.
  • Despite some great first impressions, could Tony Wroten be D-League bound?
  • Percy catches up with MBA, who played last season in Turkey and just missed the cut to join the Great Britain Olympic team.
  • People who see Nigel Williams-Goss can't explain why, but they love this kid.
  • Yeah, IT get's it.
  • Here is an update on former UW golfer, Nick Taylor (and a few classmates) who is still trying to find his way on the PGA tour.
  • Avinash put together an interesting article for Pacific Takes and noted that the nine current or former Huskies are currently projected to take home medals in the Olympic Games which opened in an, uh, interesting manner last night.
  • Hope Solo and her Team USA colleagues posted an impressive come-from-behind win over France to kick off Olympic competition in Women's Soccer.
  • For you Olympics nuts, we'll try to keep up with the news for you here in the Dawgpound. Follow Twitter!
  • There is a lot more to catch you up on, Dawgfans. I'll keep working the dots while you keep working on staying cool. WOOF
