- Yes, it is true, Albany upset UW at home last night. Percy has all the gory details including a message of hope. The key for me is that UW is basically down to a seven man rotation with the concussion to Scott Suggs. This is the worst roster that Lorenzo Romar has ever assembled for a team that has always been built around tempo and depth. It doesn't look good for us this year - a shame to waste the senior years of Aziz N'Diyae and Suggs this way.
- Steve Kelley thought the whole sordid affair was strange ... and I agree (but not quite as strange as the closings to his typical column).
- Romar explains what happened and where his team is at as they enter the most difficult stretch of their non-conference schedule:

- The good news is that there is always football. The bad news is that Jerramy Stevens is still in the news (and, did you know that he and Hope Solo were engaged? I'm sure that is one boring relationship). Deadspin has all the play by play. Unbelievable.
