Welcome to the week 5 recap of your former Huskies in the NFL. Injuries, bye weeks, and inactives make this a brief recap. Only two former Dawgs played this week. That makes the MVP choice pretty easy. Here are your Sunday's Best:

Jake Locker QB Tennessee Titans

Jake is out several weeks after separating his non-throwing shoulder for the second time this year in week 4.

Donald Butler LB San Diego Chargers

Donald only recorded 2 tackles in the Chargers' loss to New Orleans. The Saints do not run the ball much which probably affected the tackle total. But it was Donald's lowest output of the season.

Mason Foster LB Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers had a bye in week 5

Dashon Goldson S San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers continue to have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and Dashon is a big part of that. In the 45-3 victory over Buffalo, Dashon had 3 tackles and recovered a fumble.

Chris Polk RB Philadelphia Eagles

With the return of Dion Lewis from injury Chris was inactive for the first time this year.

Khalif Barnes OG Oakland Raiders

The Raiders were on bye in week 5.

Marcel Reece FB Oakland Raiders

BYE

Daniel Te'o-Nesheim DE Tampa Bay Buccaneers

BYE

Senio Kelemete OG Arizona Cardinals

Senio was inactive again in week 5.

Alameda Ta'Amu DT Pittsburgh Steelers

Alameda was inactive in week 5.
